Sliding Shadow explores the fragile artifice of identity and the claustrophobic weight of inherited lineage that can impact us. Operating at the intersection of public composure and internal collapse, the series examines the home not as a place of refuge, but as an arena of quiet, intergenerational friction.

At the core of the work is the tension between the self we perform and the familial resentment we can inherit. Unresolved stories bleed through the surface of daily life, fracturing the boundary between individual perception and ancestral weight. Here, shadow acts as an active, disruptive residue seeping into the frame; the physical imprint of an inherited conflict that refuses to stay buried.
